GME – Fire Fighting Loop

Scope of Work:
The project included the implementation of 2,700 meters of new fire-fighting pipelines with diameters of 14″, 12″, 8″, and 6″, fully connected to the main fire-fighting loop to ensure system integration and efficiency.
Civil Works:
The scope covered excavation and dewatering (if required), soil compaction, and placement of new sand layers to prepare a stable base for the network installation.
Mechanical Works:
It involved welding and testing of all pipes and flanges, the application of a 4mm waterproof membrane for underground pipelines, and installation of all types of valves to ensure system reliability.
Structural Works:
The project also included casting and installation of pipe racks for all above-ground pipelines, ensuring proper support, alignment, and long-term durability of the fire-fighting system.
